NEW! +GF+ Pneumatic Actuator

Pneumatic actuators are an economical solution for installations with a high number of actuated valves. They are fast, adjustable and have a fail-safe operating mode. GF Piping Systems’ new Pneumatic Actuator is made of high performance plastics, is maintenance free, and provides consistent performance for the life of your piping system.

Flexible Sizing to Find the Right Fit

The new design of the interface between the Ball Valve 546 Pro and the Pneumatic Actuator range enable users to find the right fit in terms of torque and size, even in low-pressure applications. You can choose from standard configurations or contact RHFS for customized assemblies.

The integrated NAMUR interfaces allow additional accessories such as Electro-pneumatic Positioners and Solenoid Valves to be used to widen the functionality and automation level of the valve assembly. Process Automation, therefore, offers the complete product range as the full solution supplier.

Features

  • Corrosion-free and no maintenance required
  • Low weight and easy handling
  • 25% more efficient compared to predecessor products
  • Standard valve assemblies are sized to meet PN10 requirements (5.6 and 4.2 bar air pressure)
  • The right fit in terms of torque and size (i.e. in low pressure applications < PN6)
  • Integrated NAMUR interfaces

Precise Control

An Electro-pneumatic Positioner is available and was tuned and tested with the Pneumatic Actuator and Ball Valve 546 Pro. Thanks to the perfect alignment, precise flow control becomes simple. Additionally, an auto-tune function ensures quick commissioning. The Electro-pneumatic Position is also available for Georg Fischer DIASTAR valves.

Automation

Even though valves are pre-assembled, standard interfaces allow easy modification if required. The connection kit is compact and also holds an additional capacitive limit switch.

Testing Procedure

All actuators and valves undergo a 100% test process to ensure safe function and leak tightness. The pre-assembled combination is tested one last time to make sure the individual products work perfectly together. This redundancy in testing increases the safety, durability, and reliability of Georg Fischer valve assemblies.
