Polyethylene HDPE Pipe Fittings
Because of its considerable strength-to-density ratio, HDPE pipes and fittings can be found in many systems calling for corrosion-resistant piping. These applications include food production, water and waste water transport, natural gas pipelines and fuel systems. Ryan Herco Flow Solutions has a number of HDPE piping systems and is ready to provide them to you when the application requires them.
High-density Polyethylene owes its unique characteristics to the fact that it’s molecular structure has very little branching, giving it stronger intermolecular forces and tensile strength than other forms of polyethylene. The density of HDPE can range from 0.93 to 0.97 g/cm3, but the difference in strength is greater than the difference in density, giving HDPE a high specific strength. HDPE is also harder and more opaque, and can withstand higher temperatures (248°F short-term, 230°F continuously) than other forms of polyethylene.
Our HDPE pipe and fitting lines are ideal for both fluids and compressed air. We stock sizes from 3/4" to 4", and offer fitting configurations that include tees, elbows, couplings, reducer bushings, and more. We are your one-stop shop for piping systems calling for HDPE.
When it comes to HDPE pipe and fittings, without a doubt, Ryan Herco has what you need. We spend an abundance of time training our sales representatives how to perfectly integrate our HDPE products into your specific piping application.
